Join us on March 8th from 6:00–8:00pm at TETSUJIN as we celebrate International Women’s Day with an intimate sake experience featuring three exceptional expressions from Tsuji Honten Brewery’s Gozen-shu.
Gozen-shu is a historic brewery in Okayama, Japan, known for its dedication to tradition and its pioneering female leadership in sake brewing. In honour of International Women’s Day, we will explore three distinctive Gozen-shu labels, each showcasing elegance, structure, and depth.
Throughout the evening, Kana Aoyama, certified sake sommelier and educator, she will guide you through:
• The philosophy and history of Tsuji honten Brewery
• The characteristics of the Omachi rice variety, native to Okayama
• The flavour profiles and brewing styles of each sake
• How sake pairs beautifully with artisanal cheeses
Each sake will be thoughtfully paired with a curated cheese board, highlighting the surprising harmony between Gozenshu's sake and cheese.
