Capturing the essence of Tokyo with sushi train, Japanese barbeque and a bar, all under one roof

Drawing inspiration from the Japanese culture of machines, Principle Design crafted a vibrant visual language for Tetsujin Bar & Restaurant. Tetsujin’s contrasting dynamics inspired the concept of ‘Order vs. Chaos’, which was realised through wall graphics, uniforms, packaging and signage that reflect the change in mood throughout the restaurant.
— EAT DRINK DESIGN
Looking for a pre-show night out, or somewhere to fill your appetite before a weekend drinking session? Don’t worry - they’ve got you covered with their totally Instagrammable Shinto Sour cocktail or their positively summery half cantaloupe-filled Soju cocktail.
— The Urban List
Tetsujin, the newest restaurant addition to Emporium, captures the ordered chaos of Tokyo – even down to the collective “welcome” of “irrashaimase!” from the staff as you walk in. It’s made up of three sections: sushi train, Japanese barbeque and bar. The barbeque area is dark, smoky and noisy, but the sushi-train area is light and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look over the city.
